Finally

After some great conversations with Mindy, we finally came up with a final topic. I am going to take a hotel in need of renovations in Banff National Park and not only renovate it but attempt to give it LEED GOLD status. Dale has provided me with a great link to give me lots of information on the LEED certification process.     Good choice after changing your topic. We need more hotels, buildings etc. that are LEED certified. I found this Link on a hotel down in Kentucky that went LEED maybe it will help you out a little with your project. http://www.berea.edu/bcnow/story.asp?ArticleID=1624

    Its kind of a cool concept since the building is so old.

    The Palazzo Las Vegas has LEED certification. I found this website explaining what they did and how they became certified. I was thinking looking into what they have done can give you some suggestions and ideas about your LEED certified hotel in Banff. Hope it goes well.
